Who do you plan to speak with internally? What do you hope to learn from these conversations? What is the first question you want to ask that person? the most important question you want to ask that person? (List the first question and the most important question for each potential internal expert.)
I will speak to ms. Ruttan the art teacher as well as DW. From ms ruttan, I hope to learn about specific visual art pieces throughout history that were created as a form of activism. The first thing i will ask her is “did you study art history in college?” and the most important question i will ask her is “what are the most iconic examples for activist art throughout history?”. From DW, I hope to learn about societal impacts of activist art through a historical lense. The first thing i will ask him is “what are the most iconic pieces of art throughout history?” and the most important question i will ask him is “why were they created and what were the societal impacts?”.

I will talk to Kerry Moore, a teacher in Georgia who taught me at Georgia’s Governor’s Honors Program over the summer. I hope to learn about activist art more recently through music in the 80-present. The first thing i will ask him is “why is music the most powerful form of art to you?” and the most important questions I will ask him are “Why do you think the activist chose music to relate their message? What is it about art that makes it a great vehicle for social justice?”.
